Gabriela Ionescu is an Assoc. prof. at National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest, Faculty of Energy Engineering, Department of Energy Production and Use. Her scientific activity has been developed within national and international research projects/grants and collaboration (Europe, Africa, USA) as project coordinator, co-principal investigator, a junior researcher and team member. She has published over 60 scientific works, including books, and acts as a reviewer and guest editor at several journals. Her research interests focus on: integrated waste management systems, material and energy recovery from waste, circular economy, bioenergy and energy carries, sustainability and environmental (health) impact assessment.
